In this two-day, hands-on instructor-led course, students will learn how to leverage Tenable.sc™ (formerly SecurityCenter®) for continuous security visibility. Event analysis tools are introduced and basic analysis concepts are taught. Basic reporting for data dissemination at all levels is taught for critical context and decisive action.
This course is intended for security professionals responsible for the operational use of Tenable.sc, Nessus® Network Monitor and Log Correlation Engine® (LCE®) for vulnerability and event data acquisition, analysis and dissemination.
Students should possess a basic understanding of TCP/IP networking, operating systems security and common client/server applications. Familiarity with vulnerability management vocabulary and concepts will be helpful but not required. Students should have already completed the Tenable.sc: Scanning and Analysis course.
